Dry-disconnect and break-away couplings

Technical specifications:

The safety breakaway coupling protects the unloading coupling, as well as the pipe system which is fixed with a flange, from the axial loading, which can cause damages. Along the breakaway bolts the coupling breaks in safety and closes down with a shut-off valve, by that preventing the release of the delivered medium into the environment.

Safety breakaway coupling

In case of the couplings disconnection a valve shuts down on both sides, by that it’s preventing the possible release of the left-over materials (chemicals) into the environment. The components of the coupling are fully connected to each other by a 120°degree turn. In such case the  valves open up and assure a full flow for the medium.

TR series - dry diconnect coupling

Technical specifications:

Automatic vacuum equalisation during steam condensation. The coupling closes under pressure and opens during vacuum. For hose protection, the coupling provides the ability of emptying condensate via a key.

Technical specifications:

Premium quality, EU manufactured, safe, double-sided quick-connect plate valve for high temperature applications, even steam. The coupling is protected against accidental disconnection caused by hose coiling by means of a rotary coupling.

It is available in two pressure ratings, PN 16/180 C and PN 25/225 C. The two types are not compatible with each other, so accidental connection is excluded. 

The condensate can be drained with a key. 

The operating principle is that both the male and female part are fitted with a valve. To make the connection, it is necessary to rotate the mother part clockwise by placing it on the father part. There are helical grooves on the side of the male part, these are inserted into the female part, after a 10 degree rotation the two sides are permanently connected. The annular flow channel is then opened. The springs behind the valves are axially displaced into the inside of the body by the spring load generated during the coupling. The disengagement occurs in reverse order, with a total rotation of 120 degrees. When disengaged, both sides lock. 

The male and female parts are both BSP internally threaded. Material 1.4571/1.4401, plastic PA covering the handle.
